We had so much fun with Bill in 32nd Transportation, we never had a dull moment with DOWNS around, he always kept us laughing!! We lost a brother, a friend, a comrade who was our family member...as soldiers we accept each other and love each other unconditionally, we are all we have, each other...he will b greatly missed and we are saddened of our loss, our fallen comrade, our brother!!!!! Sadly, I recently learned of Bill's passing. He served his country through the military for which he has my up most respect. Bill had an infectious smile that spread happiness to all he met. I was best friends with Bill's departed wife, Kathy. I miss them both dearly. May they both rest in peace. My condolences go out to Downs' family.

I was very saddened to recently learn of Bill's passing. He was a good man who made unselfish sacrifices to serve his country through the military and has my up most respect. He always had a smile to share, making everyone happy. I was best friends with his departed wife, Kathy Downs. I miss you both very much and pray that you rest in peace. My condolences to the Down's family. I'm sure you miss him dearly.
