Dear Peter, I never had the opportunity of meeting your father but from what I had learned of him and his life and from the very brief biography of him in The Day, I can well appreciate the depth of void and loss you and your family ought to be feeling for his demise. My deepest condolenses to you and the family. May god bless his soul. Hormoz Shayegan

Dear Jim, Photine and family,

William J. Drakos, like Hurricane Bill which brushed off the New England coast that very same Friday August 21st, 2009, kept his eye at sea and reached us spiritedly with his strength and character even from far away distances. The hurricane came and went. Bill sailed away with it. I will always remember Mr. D with found memories and respect.
My sincere condolences to his entire wonderful family.
