Not sure what to say?

Billy Driscoll IV, our prayers are with you and your family during this time. It has been 25+ years since we spoke, but I still have great memories of our friendship and your family. I will never forget going on an RA canoe trip down the Brazos with you and your dad when we were both about 10 years old. My dad and I still have fond memories of that trip. God Bless.

I am saddened to hear of Bill's death. We have been friends since the 3rd grade at Bonham Elementary. He was a wonderful friend, always funny and kind. I will miss him.

All of us who have known and loved Bill are very sad to hear of his death. I saw the obit too late to attend his memorial. It must have been a huge celebration of a wonderful man who always gave 100% to his friends. Bill and I were NDHS friends and sometimes sweethearts. He was the funniest, sweetest and kindnest. He could always tease you into a good mood and make you laugh with him. I am so sorry he was so ill during his later years, but it never seemed to get him down. He was a...

Mr. Bill,
My friend may you rest in peace. Heaven certainly gained a special person when you got there I will certainly miss you. Your life was always such an inspiration to me. Driscoll family you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God help you through this heartbreaking time. He was one in a million! Love to you all.

Big Bill, I will never forget you big buddy. I remember well the great party you and Doughboy put together after I got out of the hospital. You will be missed.

I am saddened to hear of Bill's passing. He and I were good friends at N.D. High school and remained so after graduation. Thank you Bill for your friendship, and all those neat Budweiser memorabilia. My Budweiser neon will be burning for you in your memory.

Bill is still 17 years old in my mind. We played football together for North Dallas High School in the early fifties. Bill and all the other players on our team are such wonderful memories for me and I'm sure, they were for Bill also. I only saw Bill once after graduation from high school, but other than being a little older, he still looked the same. God bless Bill and all his family and friends.

You were loved by many. My prayers to your family. I know your old friend Sgt. Bill Mentzel Sr. my father is there with you in heaven. So tell him we miss him also.

Kindness to strangers and Love for his friends. I miss ya already Bill.
