William "Bill" Dugan

Dear Family of Mr. Dugan,

My name is Marsha Hertweck. I am not sure, but quite possibly my Dad and Mr. Dugan could have been together on a returning ship to the U.S. following World War II. It was the USS Wilson Victory Ship(A Kaiser Ship).

As I went through papers of my Dad's Military Papers and pictures he brought back I noticed possibly your Dad's name?

I wanted my kids to know more about their grandfather's service and the fact that the 75th Normandy Invasion...

I di not know you personally, however I would very much like to "Thank You" for your dedicated and honorable Military Service to OUR country.
As a member of the "GREATEST GENERATION", and as a "WORLD WAR II VETERAN"; you Sir are my HERO!
At a later date we will meet in that "SPECIAL PLACE" which GOD reserves for ALL of those who have stepped forward to serve their country in a Military Uniform.
May ALL of GOD'S blessings be with your dear family!
