Not sure what to say?

We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Osofo Papa Bill. As the convener for the 2013 GMN meeting in Louisville, Rev. Dr. William (Bill Dummer went above and beyond to make our annual gathering one of the best I had ever attended. Browsing through some of his numerous invitation emails, I was filled with Bill's yearning kindness and hospitality; and his endearing spirit of mission. Bill's passion and work in Ghana is forever etched in our minds and hearts; and the Conference of...

Kathy, Bill was cherished in Ghana. My friends in Takaradi were very glad to meet him here in Milwaukee and in Ghana.

Bill is a kind man and opened his home to all and sundry. I met Bill ans Kathy a few yrears ago when they hosted a group from Ghana including my sister Mercy. I flew from Virginia to visit. They made me stay in the house with the group. They served food and took the best care of us. The world has lost a real man of God.He was jovial and down to earth, giving and very pleasant. May he rest in the bossom of Almighty God.Amen

Blessings to Bill's family. I'm thankful for being a friend and colleague of his for the past 20 years here in the Milwaukee Presbytery. He was truly a good man.

I was sorry to read of Bill Dummer's passing. I met him years ago while doing clinic escorting, saw him at peace marches, and lately at Divine Intervention...that provides temporary housing for the homeless during winter months. Katherine and Heather were also not just talking the talk but doing the work that is the mark of good people. It is sad when good giving people like Bill die too soon...with so much needing to be done. We need to honor good men like Bill with good works.

Kathy, we are deeply saddened by Bill's passing. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. With peace, Dave and Kathi Ewing

We are sad to lose a great neighbor who always had a smile and some good gardening tips. Washington Heights will truly miss Bill!

I am very sorry to learn about the passing of Mr. Dummer. I had the privilege of working with Bill during my time at the Hunger Task Force. He was a caring man and a true champion for social justice. I extend my deepest condolences to the entire family.
