Not sure what to say?

Bill was my little brother in the TKE fraternity and even though we lost contact for 50 years when we reunited he showed his true self in that he had a strong compassion for the little guy -
May he rest in peace as his legacy will never be forgotten -

I never met Capt. William Duncan, but I corresponded with him while I was in college at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas (1965-1969). I had sent a letter to Vietnam Mail Call and he wrote he chose my letter because my name was similar to an old friend's name. His kindness, empathy and gentle, helping spirit was evident in his letters. My condolences to his family.

King Dunc -- you said it all the last time we met in Portland. "Friends Forever" Sorrow is all that's left now.

I graduated from Franklin High School with Bill and his sister, Ada, and I can't for the life of me remember a time he didn't have a smile on his face.
Fond times and fond memories.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I went all through high school with Bill. A good guy. Everyone like he and his twin Ada.

To a beautiful old soul. I will miss you forever. I know you are at peace.

Our condolences to Bill's family & many friends. Obviously, he will be missed by many.

Bill was my neighbor. He was so gentle, funny, and warm; he felt us made welcome in our building and was a good friend to us. Rest in peace, Bill. We'll miss you.
