William (Bill) A. DUNCAN

Passed away on January 26, 2017 at the age of 93 ½ years of age. He was born in Seattle on July 31, 1923 to Andrew Duncan and Florence Wasoleck Duncan. He is proceeded in death by his wife, Maryanne Miller Duncan, father and mother, and brothers, Eugene Duncan, Richard Duncan and Raymond Duncan all of Seattle. He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia (Cyndi) Duncan Newman and son-in-law, Daniel Floyd Newman, both of Sequim, and many loved nieces and nephews.

Bill graduated from Highline High School in Burien in 1941. He served in the US Navy in both World War II and the Korean War. He subsequently worked for Duncan Engine Company in Seattle, owned the Eagledale Market on Bainbridge Island, and then was a foreman at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, shop 38 in Bremerton, until his retirement in 1983.

A Funeral Mass and Reception will be held February 10th at 11AM at
St. John the Evangelist Church,
121 N 80th Street, Seattle.

Interment will be at
Holyrood Cemetery,
205 NE 205th Street, Shoreline WA.
