Thus shall ye think of
all this fleeting world:
A star at dawn, a
bubble in a stream;
A flash of lightning
in a summer cloud,
A flickering lamp,
a phantom, and a
dream.

Your life was too short.

His quiet prodding,as our Treasurer, to reach for even greater heights with the Challenge Campaign which he established three years ago, has given a good start to our endowment fund. Bill Dyer was a a great father-in -law to me, and a wonderful Dad to my wife, Hanna. He knew a lot about a lot of things, but he'd be the last one to let on that he did. He had a quiet dignity, a wonderfully dry sense of humor, and I never heard him once say anything bad about anyone. From what I've learned of Bill, he worked hard from the first day he was able to,...

My father and I knew each other very well when I was a little girl. We each knew the others' likes and dislikes and we knew how to have a good time together. My dad liked to talk about when he was in college, snuggle while watching t.v., cook me steak and baked beans, and to show off his garden. When I...

I like to think the goodness in a person can be judged by the character of their children. I didn't know Bill Dyer Jr., but I know his daughter Hanna. I'm certain he will be missed.
