William Franklin "Bill" Dyer

William Franklin Dyer, a lifetime resident of the Clarendon area passed away at the age 89, Friday, February 9, 2018 at his home in Clarendon. He was a son of the late E.T. & Julia Dyer.

Mr. Dyer was a 1946 graduate of Clarendon High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was married to the late Lois Walker Dyer. He and his wife formerly owned the Dyers Jewelry, The Clarendon Café, White River Scrap and the Pines Golf Course.

Mr. Dyer is survived by his children, Donnie Tipton (Judy) of Clarendon, Jackie Scott (Eddie) of Stuttgart, and Julie Dyer of Clarendon;

One Brother, Don Dyer (Mary) of Conway; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren with a great grandchild and a great-great grandchild on the way. Mr. Dyer was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brothers, Bennie & Robert Dyer & Edward (Tunny) Stinnett,

Visitation will be held, Monday, Feb. 12, from 12:00 until 1:00 PM with services following at 1:00 PM, at the Bob Neal & Sons Chapel at Clarendon. Burial will be at the Shady Grove Cemetery with Bro. Rick Glover officiating.
