I'm saddened to read of the passing of 'Sgt. Eagar'. That's the only name I knew him by, when my Dad introduced me to him on their reutrun from a fishing day and night out on Washburn's Island in 1970. It was always and only Sgt. Eagar. A Wonderful and fun practical joker of a guy, as I knew him then. I sat here this morning and wrote out what may have been, easily, over a 1000 word message with two memories I have of him...
