Not sure what to say?

I first met Mr. E in the mid-1960s. I was a neighbor and classmate (at Duniway & Cleveland HS) of Mike. My dad bought a house on 30th St. and the Earharts lived on 31st St. I often hung out with Mike & Will. My initial impression of Mr. E was of an extremely upright citizen, business owner and father. Once I finally began talking with him I found him to be very friendly and kind, compassionate and intelligent. He was always sincere and courteous. He was definitely a rock-solid figurehead, a...

Dear Earhart Family, We are truly sorry for your loss. May your loving memories sustain you. May God bless you all. Greg and Cynthia Roberti

To all the Earharts:
After the funeral the other day I came away feeling much better about his passing. It was such an uplifting service and everyone who participated did a great job of talking about his life or relating to things about him that it made me feel much better. As we all know he was a wonderful person, boss, and friend to all and through my 20 years of working for him I felt very close to him and to the rest of the family. He was a great mentor to me during my years of...

GF left a legacy... After his service yesterday, I looked around the room at the family that he created with our Grandmother and realized that I am truly blessed. We all are blessed. I have so many wonderful memories of GF.. The one that will stand in my mind until the end of time is the way he wouldn't hesitate to belt out a "HELL NO!!" and we would laugh and laugh..! This and the big coffee can of bacon grease that he kept by the stove. He would cook everything in bacon grease! Maybe that...

My condolences to the whole Earhart clan for the loss of an amazing man. Hopefully you will find solace in the wonderful life he had and that he was blessed with such a great family.

Your Dad and Grandfather has held a significant place in your lives. Though times I have visited with him have been few, he was always good company, interesting and funny. You have many years of good memories to hold onto.
Love you lots, GrandMor Courtney

Mr. E was an amazing man. A man of character - that's what always comes to mind when I think of him. I was blessed to have him as an extended "Grandfather" and although it had been several years since my last visit with him I always enjoyed time spent with him. One of my most cherished memories is of spending New Years Eve in at his house when I was a kid, listening to him play the piano and then hanging out with my cousins in the den, listening to the Top 100 countdown as the adults...

My sincere condolances to the Earhart family for their loss. I was invited to be the "afternoon sitter" for the family in the l950's and what wonderful memories I have of those summer days, even a camping trip to Crescent Lake. Mr. Earhart was a very loving father and we all enjoyed his fun and adventurous ways. He will of course be missed by so many and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wonderful family.
