Not sure what to say?

I was just watching a show about Providence College sports. And for some reason, I thought of Bill. Back in 1977, I lived on 29 Hereford St in Providence, RI when I was 9 years old. Bill lived at the bottom of my street in the apartments on Sunbury St. He befriended me and I used to visit and we would talk about basketball. I just thought he was a friendly man who liked playing hoop. When I told my Dad he was Bill Eason, my father was in shock. He tried to explain what an accomplished...

I was just back to The Dunk last weekend for the 40th anniversary of the big east. My senior year team was the first year of the big east. After the game they had a dinner for us and I was sitting with Jerry Scott, Rudy Williams and Rick Hunger reminiscing and laughing about all the great times we had with Bill and Soup. Those two guys were not only the best teammates anyone could ask for but the best friends that I was so lucky to have. I was sitting at work today thinking about them both...

I just recently heard about Bill's passing. He was a wonderful guy and a tremendous ballplayer. In the spring of 1974 he was at St. Thomas More and I was at Bridgton Academy. Our teams met in the New England class A prep school championship game in Boston. It was a back and forth game but in the end Bill was just to much to handle. He had 39 points against us and his turnaround no dribble jumper was just the sweetest shot and virtually impossible to defend. It's been 40 plus years since...

Condolences from Attorney George Nassar and Attorney Micah Nassar.

A true baller & a class guy RIP Bill !

Mr Eason was one of the first I had the pleasure to work with, such a wonderful man. So so sad to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences to the family.

Sorry to hear the passing of Bill. We spent many hours on the basketball court as rivals him at Kennedy high and me at Wilby but most of all we were friends Goodby old friend RIP Earl Pearl Hunter

Dayna and Wil so sad to hear about the passing of your dad, we can still see and hear him in that OLSH gym and the Central gym the joy we had watching out kids grow up. Wil your dad's eyes would light up when he talk about his grandsons as you and Dayna they were also the light of his life so keep in mind that light will continue to shine on all of you from above. May he Rest In Peace and know that he will be your guardian angel.

As I go through life, I can't help but remember the lessons Bill and Dana taught. They were more than just basketball coaches. They taught us what it means to be part of more than just a team. I feel that due to their wisdom and character, that I am what I am today. They instilled a belief in us that through hard work and perseverance we could accomplish anything. Thank you for sharing three years with us at St. Mary's Coach Eason. You will always be a part of our lives.
