Not sure what to say?

A Gentleman and a friend He was a good friend and a good man

It is hard to put into words the love and admiration that Les and I feel for Bill. His life was an inspiration to all who knew him. Mary Lou and Bill gave so much of themselves to everyone they came in contact with. He will be missed but always remain in our hearts.

I still think of Bill telling a Rhodes Carpenter story or two in Russellville before we started to work on trucking situations. It was an honor and privlege to have know such a man and especially to have worked with him.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you, Mary Lou and your family. We thought the services in Clanton were a tribute to Bill and what he means to all of us. Yours and Bill's friendship has never been taken for granted.

Through Mary Lou, Ruth and I became acquainted with Bill. Our lives have been enriched by his warmth and love. We are thankful that God brought him intoour lives and into our hearts.

I am so sorry to hear of Bill's untimely death. It is our loss and heaven's gain. Bill was a joy to work for and instilled a competitive spirit in everone's life he touched in work, golf or just poking fun. He was the master of giving folks nicknames.

Love you Bill!

So sorry; Bill will be greatly missed until we are all reunited in Heaven. May God give you all the strength to get through this trying time.

It was great to get to know Bill while at Southside. Anna and I enjoyed the time we spent with Bill and Mary Lou. May God Bless everyone in the family.

I worked with Bill since 1965 in various capacities and always found him someone I could call a friend and comrad-in-arms.He was always postive in his outlook and lived his life in a postive stance with an outlook for his fellow man.
