WILLIAM I. EDMONDSON, 81, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, in Slidell.
Beloved Husband of the late Wilma Schwarz Edmondson;
Father of Brenda Fino (husband Cesar), and William Edmondson (wife Deirdre);
Son of the late Horace and Minnie Edmondson;
Brother of Nancy Vance, and the late Lucille Scott and Ethel Williams;
Also survived by three grandchildren: Amanda Fino, Adam Fino,and Robert Edmondson.
Mr. Edmondson was retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years of service.
His tours of duty included Berlin, Korea, and Vietnam. After his military career, he became a regional manager for NAPA Auto Parts.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral.
Memorial Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,
1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA
on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 10:00 A.M.
Friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at 9:00am.
Donations to Interim Hospice of Slidell or to the Wounded Warrior Project, preferred in lieu of flowers.
