Bill was a generous and kind person. I never met Bill in person, but we became friends via emails when he showed interest in my neckties back in 2005. I know he was proud of his daughters and loved his family very much.

I think of you often and hope to see each other on the other side.

I met Bill Eisen when I was an undergrad student back in 2011 (maybe 2012). I wanted to be lawyer, but knew very little of what it actually meant to practice law. I learned from him how to think like a lawyer. Far more important, he was generous enough to pay attention to me at a personal level when no one else had before. He was a mentor, and a role model as a human and as a lawyer.

It is very painful to just find out of his passing. It is even more painful that I did not get to...
