I witnessed the 1980 Benihana in Pt Pleasant Beach, NJ. The winner in the Cigs race was a man named Bill Elswick. As I remembered a Langhorne, PA fellow student of that name decided to locate the boat. The boats were located all over the town. Well, I was, although he was not with his boat, to learn that he was the same person I knew. My memories of Bill was that he was a big guy who was allstate on the football team at Neshaminy. I always remembered his kind, gentle manner. RIP...
