Not sure what to say?

So nice remembering fun times at Grandma and Grandpa's farm and also attending Mass at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church in Arcola, In.

Anne Engeman Smith & family (1st cousin)

My deepest sympathy to the Engeman Family!
I had Mr. Engeman for Junior Band at Central Catholic High School from 1959 to 1961. We went to Columbia City for contest and did very well! He was a good band director! I am still playing in a band---The Fort Wayne Community Band---I play bass clarinet! Mary Lou Morris Fort Wayne, IN

How fitting that I was conducting the Riley HS Marching Band last night during his viewing, in the same place I had the pleasure of having Terry as my Assistant Band Director my freshmen year. One of the many mentors I had as a student and as a professional teacher! I felt his spirit and am missing my fellow percussionist and friend, Terry!

Terry was a great friend and mentor. He will be sincerely missed.

Our deepest sympathy to the Engeman family. I knew him for 30 years playing with him in the South Bend Symphony! He was a kind man.

Mr. Engeman was a gentle giant. Our band director at Adams, he loved teaching. I remember him advising me as I was leaving for college - "the best thing you can teach yourself is a 15 minute nap." Thanks for everything, Mr. Engeman.

Terry was one of my favorite teachers at Adams High School. He was an inspiring leader of the band, and caused me to pursue music as a career. I'll continue to keep your family in my prayers. Heaven celebrates and rejoices with Terry arrival. Heaven's praise band is now bigger and better! Thank you Terry, for making a difference in my life.

Mr. Engeman was my first band Director
at St Joseph's grade school in Ft. Wayne.
Rest in peace

"It never takes more than 5-minutes." Terry was a good friend and he touched my life in many ways. Sitting at a busy intersection in Chicago, I thought we would never get through. Terry said, "It never takes more than 5-minutes." And it never does. The drum line in heaven will now march to the sound of a different drummer. I will miss him.
