Dr. William R. Eure

Dr. Eure was my family doctor growing up in Bay Springs. Dr. Eure profoundly helped nurture and strengthen my love of science. I originally wanted to be a medical doctor like Dr. Eure, but when I ultimately discovered that my passion was for scientific research, he encouraged me to follow my passion. Dr. Eure was a God-fearing, brilliant, kind, and wonderful man and doctor. I am blessed to have known him. My prayers are with all the family and friends who mourn his passing from this life.

Sorry to hear prayers for y'all

I am so sorry to hear about Dr. Eure's passing. This obit exemplifies Dr. Eure's true passion and caring for his family and others. Many of us still consider him as our family doctor. May sweet memories wipe away your tears. Praying for Dr. Eure's family during this time. God bless you all and thank you for sharing Dr. Eure with so many of us.

I met Dr. Eure decades ago as a patient in a Hattiesburg dental office. He was such a kind, intelligent gentleman. Though I have not seen him since I left that clinic, I have never forgotten him. Prayers for his family. I know he will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathies on the loss of Dr. Eure. He was our physician in Bay Springs when we were children. He was always so kind and efficient, I always knew he could handle anything and instilled such calm and confidence in the heart of a frightened, little girl
