Dear Judy,
Sorry to hear about Willie. I think of him when I see and wear the Music Box T shirt where he did the art work. His art work was humerous and always told the story.

Just seeing willie brought a huge smile to my face. Not a word had to be spoken to see his goodness shine from his hear out to anyone who came his way. His wonderful sense of humor and his honest sincererity gifted all who knew him. I was very saddened to hear of his passing and miss his burial. Willie was simply one of the BEST!
I will always remember him bringing me a piece of candy after lunch. Many times when I was giving my daughter a lesson, on the practice tee, their was Willie and friends on the verandra. He would be rating her with numbers one through ten on her progress. I will miss Willie very much and love him dearly.

Willie was one of the first faces I saw when I started working at Velv. I knew at that point, that Willie would be a long time friend and co-worker. He was always good for a morning joke or a comforting hug. His artwork was second to none, and he could sketch something up at a blink of an eye. Many a time I would drive through town and see that license plate right it front of me (VELV), and say to myself, "hey, there's Willie!" - beep, beep. Thanks for the memories Will! I'll miss you!

Willie made the world a better place. He let himself be wholly known and inspired others to do the same. Warm, funny, unpredictable, a true artist, one-of-a-kind, he was the whole world's uncle...Uncle Willie, forever in our hearts!

I was so saddened to hear about Willie's passing. He did so much for my family with his great artist ability. He would come down to Bridgeport to where I teach and draw with my children. He loved all the kids. What a special person Willie was. My thoughts are with his family on your loss. Love, Erin Amaral

Our family is heartbroken today. Willy was one of the most extraordinary people I have ever known. He was a humorous, talented, and well-liked person who has done many favors for many people. As Dad once said, I don't think you'll ever find anyone who has a bad word to say about Willy Evans. For me personally, it is impossible to think of my days growing up without thinking of Willy. My first baseball glove, fishing pole, camping tent... the Yale football games, the NFL picks, Thanksgiving,...
