My dear friend and Brother passed away on Thursday. We proudly served together in Vietnam with the 2nd Battalion 12th Infantry Regiment 25th Infantry Division in 1970 and 1971. Frenchy as we called him was an outstanding soldier, I learned a lot from him. We shared bad times and good times. What was always a constant was our shared love to our fellow brothers. I only knew him as "Frenchy" as he was in the same squad as my brother-in-law. He talked of Frenchy in only the greatest light. The country lost a great soldier and a good man.
