In reading Billys obituary, I did not realize all that he had accomplished. Growing up on The Stanwich Club and getting to know Billy thru my dad, Ray Twombly, I am sad to hear this news. Brought back memories. All era and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Billy had a wonderful smile and that is how I will remember him. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Alvera & Family; I was so sorry to hear of Billy's passing. A long time friend, golf buddy, Stanwich associate, and most of all, great all around man. He raised a wonderful family who will cherish him forever, as will all his fellow golfers. May his troubles be less and his blessings be more. Greenwich has lost another one of the good guys. RIP buddy and keep it in the short grass.

Mr. Farrell did many things for many people well beyond his countless golf lessons. He is missed.

treasure many vivid and wonderful memories of this remarkable man. With all his achievements, the best of all perhaps was the family he raised. Condolences to them all.
