Wow. Not sure where to start. I had just seen Bill during my last visit to Palm Springs in July/Aug. I left on Aug 7th, and he was gone in less than 2 months. I had just texted him on Sept 24th telling him that World Gym was back open ... not knowing at the time that he never read it. Such a shock and disappointment that one of my best friends in Palm Springs would not be around to talk to anymore. I typically only come out here about 3 times a year, and usually had a running Sunday...

I have just learned of Bill's passing and wish to extend my sympathy and condolences to his siblings and extended family.

I have known Bill for over 30 years and spoke to him not too long ago. I am deeply saddened and shocked by his. Please have a family member reach out to me on my email. Thank you.

I worked with Bill many years ago at Gensler. He was a talented professional and wonderful mentor. My heart goes out to your family at this sad time.

Bill was one of the loveliest men I have ever met. Every time he came to an opera simulcast his greeting and manner and attitude brightened my day. He was generous and kind. I never ever heard him say or saw him with an attitude or tone that was less than positive. He was grateful for every tiny little good thing that happened to him . I am so sorry to hear of his loss. He will truly be missed. truly, i loved him, a truly wonderful man.

We became close friends. Our friendship expanded to attending movie dates that also included numerous showings of The Bolshoi Ballet and Met Operas. Often we shared lunches and brunches while discussing the various mutual interests and topics. We texted or talked everyday to check in on one another. We...

Bill was a great friend and college. We worked together on projects in Lis Angeles, became friends and rekindling that friendship when my wife and I Also retired to Palm Springs.
Bill was a kind and caring man and one of the best architects I ever worked with. We spent many a late evening going over how to build something or the details of a staircase. We later spent hours sharing how we were renovating homes in LA and later Palm Springs. Nothing Bill liked better than talking shop....
