What a sad day it is when a man so obviously loved departs this life. I am touched by the remarks I have read here and wish to ad my deepest sympathy for your loss. I hope that you can take some comfort in the knowledge that Bill will live on in the hearts and minds of these and so many others.

I never met Bill personally, but it is my great pleasure to have his son Andrew for a friend.

Dear Penny, Andrew, Jason and Patrick (and all the Mrs. Fedders, and kids),

I am so sorry for your loss. I learned when my father was so sick, that at times like this, you aren't always able to hear the words that people choose. There are so many, and they sound so alike.

But I also learned that the words don't matter, because the we could feel the place that our friends kept for our family in their hearts.
