Not sure what to say?

As time goes by so quickly, I often have memories of Bill whom I met in California in 1977 at the swap meet in Spring Valley we immediately connected and we shared the same birthday, which he thought was very unique and providential. We fell in love & decided to go back east to West Virginia where his folks had bought a farm and get closer to God & Nature! We got married in Las Vegas at the SWEET HEART wedding Chappell and drove the old Ford truck to turtle tree Fork ! These were some of...

I barely knew Bill Federer. I spent an hour or two with him at Sweetwater. We were chilling by an athletic field watching track and field competitors. He told me several off color jokes he had learned from his dad. I thought of Bill as I was reading Vonnegut's Timequake. It contained a version of one of Bill's off-color jokes. Bill was a very cool dude, a guy a kid like me would like to emulate. Of course I was smart enough to know trying to emulate Federer was tomfoolery. I hope I...

I met Bill when he was going with my long time friend and neighbor Marie Elizabeth Quethera. What I remember and liked about Bill was his beautiful smile and easy going nature.I got married and moved to Escondido, but keep in contact with Marie and Bill. My husband John and I attended their wedding in June of 73'. My son Adam and Marie's daughter Amber were born months a part and played together growing up. I was so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Tragicly, Vietnam claimed the lives of many....

I met Bill Federer in 1974. He was living in Bonita on Glen Abbey Rd, and I worked at the dairy store down the road. He would come in from time to time and we would talk. Boy could Bill talk! We became fast friends. Shortly after I met Bill, Amber was born. He was so proud of her. When Bill's marriage ended he moved into a house in North Park where Stan Viehmann "Brother" and I were living. Bill was working in construction at that time building bridges and a new tuna cannery here in San...

Our Union under God, brought into this world Our Most Special Gift and Beautiful Blessing of All. Amber, our daughter.
Knowing you are no longer a physical presence on this earth, saddens me deeply. Your True Spirit will *allways* remain in my heart. The many resemblances of you in Amber shine to us all.
Thank You Bill ~Love and Light~

I met Bill in 1964 when my parent's rented Bills' parent house on 28th St. in National City.He and His sweet Mother Gloria had just came back from Vietman as our goverment was making all the civilans go home as the war had began to breaking out. We had just moved to California as my step-father was in the military. Bill and I had a lot of good times together and I never forgot him. Sorry I didn't get to see him once again before he passed away but knowing he is in a better place. Some of the...

I knew Bill for 11 years. I lived across the street from him in Clarksburg. We shared many a morning cup of coffee. I watch as he struggled with his cancer, and supported him as best I could. He was truly happy to be moving back to California with Taji and extremely happy to be getting married. He shall be missed by all who knew him. I hope all who now greave will one day be able to smile when they think of Bill.

I met Bill in Saigon, in 1963...he was my first really serious boyfriend, and we "went together" for several years..and then went our separate ways, but I never forgot him..he was such a good, caring, and giving person, and I only have good memories from our time together. We found each other again after all these years, thanks to Bill's wonderful friend, Jerry. We were able to renew the deep friendship we had, and catch up on each other's lives. Bill came to see me, and met my daughters and...
