As an IFEL classmate and long-time (since 1957) friend of Bill's and fellow jazz guitar enthusiast, am especially Saddened to hear of the loss. He was indeed one of a kind; a prince among men. May his loved ones take comfort in knowing that there are so many of Bill's many friends and admirers who share in their grief. We will miss him.

It has been a long time since I have had contact with Bill. Despite this, I share in your loss. He was a fine person and it was a pleasure and honor to know and work him. May you find comfort in the memory of the time you had with him and may God grant you peace at the loss.
