William Thomas Ferguson Sr. the son of the late William A. Ferguson
and the late Florence E. Wilkes, was born in Baltimore, Maryland on
July 23,1946 and he was called to rest on July 14, 2018 after a lengthy
illness. William attended Baltimore City public school and obtained his
high school diploma from the Maryland Job Corp.
William also affectionally known as Dad, Daddy, Fergie, Squeeze, June,
Granddad, Granddaddy June, Pop Pop, Pop, Uncle Ferg and Pepaw was
always the life of the party and he would shine anywhere he went. He
loved to dance and make everyone laugh and have fun. He would talk
to everyone that he encountered especially the ladies with his famous
"Hello Darling" with a smile. William had a couple of sayings that he
was famous for one being" Yeah Yeah" and the other being "Sayonara"
every time you leave his presence or hang up on the phone. He worked
numerous jobs for the City of Baltimore and the City of
Harrisonburg, VA making him a jack of all trades and always wanting
and willing to help anyone in need. William had a devoted partner,
Felicia Holly who he spent over 30 years with, who proceeded
him in death but was the love of his life. He will truly be missed by
everyone who had the pleasure of calling him family or friend.
William leaves to honor and cherish his memory his children,
Keith (Constance), Kevin, William Jr., Dawn, Dawnetta (Kareem),
Anita, Champ (Sharonda), Cameo (Lindsay), and Randy; his
grandchildren, Davon, Lil William, Lil Kevin, Adora, Lil Keith, Xhave',
Kalilah, Denaji, Pashur, David, Monique, Nala, Ranon, Jendehya,
Jahfiya, Laterrian, Makayla, Xavia's, and Zayden, Lil Kendall,
Khiyea, Keneishia, and Kai; his sisters Ellen (Sissy), Inez, Romona
(who proceeded him in death), and Patricia; his brother Cornelius
(Butch); And a host of special nieces and nephews and other
family and friends.
