Brett Funeral Home - Milwaukee Obituary

Entered into Eternal Life on November 18, 2016 at the age of 80 years. Survived by his children Deborah (Mark) Wimmer, William, Jr. (Anacit), Mark (Rosa Maria), and Jennifer Fields. Grandfather of Nicholas (Erica), Jacob and Mitchell Wimmer and Kelsie Fields. Uncle of Terry (Alan) Hanoski and Jerry Kallas.

Bill was born and worked in Wisconsin but spent his retirement years in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. He was active in his Christian Church as a volunteer and missionary which included work with the homeless and outreach in China. Bill was also active in community affairs, a theatrical performer with the Village Players, a volunteer at animal shelters, and an avid golfer and bowler.

Private services will be held. The family extends special thanks to the Oncology Department staff at Froedtert Hospital and the staffs at Muskego Regency and the Heartland and Zilber Family Hospices. Memorials in his name may be made to the American Cancer Society.

"Rest in Peace, Dad. We love you."

Not sure what to say?

I still think about you often Bill. Wish I could have said good bye. I'll see you though in heaven! Mark B.

Bill was a great friend and fellow actor here in Hot Springs Village. He was so
pleasant to work with and direct. We shared many thoughts about cancer, since
I was also a survivor. Bill won his battle and was not a loser, since he touched so many lives. Judy Corwin

Although Bill was in my life for a short time many years ago, his impact is immeasurable. I thank the Lord to have known Bill. He will never be forgotten!

Offering our deepest sympathies at this time.
