Happy Fathers Day! I miss you

To the Family of Bill Fila,I was so sorry to hear of Bill's death.  I overheard a conversation at a little league game today.  I had no idea.  I am a cousin to Bill.  My father, Robert Shaddeau and Bill's mother were brother and sister.  My early childhood memories are full of Sundays spent at Aunt Margaret's house with all the kids!  The family is in my thoughts and prayers.

To all the Fila Family, Please accept our most sincere condolences in the loss of your Father. We knew Bill as our friend and the best baseball coach in Saginaw. His Bill and our Bill were his students of the game and learned how to be competitive. We truly are shocked and saddened by your loss. Warren (Woody) & Marilyn Wood

Dear Chrissy and kids, I was going to write this the first day we lost precious Bill and your dad but didn't. I just want you all to know how much I truly love him and miss him. It wasn't even a year ago that we were slow dancing in my kitchen at a birthday party when it was brought up how he loved to dance and that memory alone will be so endearing to me forever! There's just been way too much heartache in this family and it has to stop!

Dear Chris and Family,

I was so sorry to hear about Bill's death. Even though he has had serious health problems for a long time, it's still very hard to lose a loved one and at such a young age. My heart goes out to you all.

I have been working out of town the past few weeks and am sorry that I wasn't in Saginaw to visit with you at the funeral home.

you, I always was fond and proud of my Uncle Bill and often wondered how he was doing through out these years and was so stunned to read this, I'm sorry. I know how deep this hurt is as I lost my mother (Peggy, Bill's sister), and brother Howard and just recently my sister Connie, so my heart goes out to you.
