Not sure what to say?

Father fitz, you were a wonderful soul here on earth, now you are in heaven beginning a new life with God. I will never forget your kindness, you showed to me and others. You are truly a saint here and now in heaven. Peace

Father fitz will greatly be missed and loved our newest Angel in HEAVEN he was a part of st phillip church for so long as I can remember and now let the Angels lead the way.

We will remember Father Fitz for all the love he gave our family. The world is a richer place because Father Fitz was a part of so many lives.

Fr. Fitzgerald was one of the first priests I met when we first moved to Kalamazoo. Even though we lived closer to St. Augustine, we enjoyed attending mass at St. Joseph. I'm certain that he was largely responsible for the friendly, family-oriented atmosphere we found there. He left a mark on that parish that lasted for decades after he left

You are a saint in heaven now, Fr. Fitz. You were a wonderful pastor. I will always thank you for helping me through the deaths of my mother and father.

Father Fitz was our "Earthly Angel". Everyone who met him loved him. His impact on the lives he touched will be felt for generations. He will be missed, but never forgotten. Rest In Peace. Love and miss you.

You and Father Mike were a part of my first memories of St. Joe's when my family came to Kalamazoo in 1974. Your prayers, support, and faith were an inspiration to me when I was diagnosed with leukemia. You will always have a special place in our hearts.

Goodby Father Fitz. Thank you for your wise guidance and caring soul.

I thank you, Fr. Fitz, for being such a big part of both my Catholic upbringing and my formative years. I'm truly blessed to know you and will never forget you. Rest In Peace, Father.
