Read MoreWas so sorry to read this as I knew Bill from his time here in Southern California. I knew he was sick as I saw him about 12 months before his death. He was a great mentor, lover of automobiles and a true out of the box thinker who assisted many people in their career. Will miss him.

So sorry about the passing of Bill. Great person, father, husband, community leader, and tremendously successful businessman.
Bill's father in law, Quincy Adams, is one of my best friends and we shared many happy moments at SMU when I was the Athletic Director.
