Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Bill's death last year. He and I were classmates at Oberlin College. He was a loyal and good friend, who called me, I now surmise, during his terminal illness. I now ascertain that he called to say goodbye. Bill introduced me to bourbon and his special, and distinctive conservative views. Neither of us liked the other's political approach, but managed to get along splendidly. If any of his family wishes to learn more about his Oberlin days, please feel free to contact me at...

Hi Mike, James, David, and Billy. Many hugs to all of you guys.

I have so many great memories of time spent with your family as a youngster - I bet I spent half of my childhood throwing the baseball with Mike. And, I always enjoyed being around your Dad. He only ever addressed me by both my first and last names - makes me laugh to this day.

I remember staying over countless nights at your guys' home on Lower Mannington Ave. (ph: 871-1063), sitting on the floor of your...

Jim, David, Billy and Michael, you all have my deepest sympathy. Bill and I were very close friends, but my husband and I left Cincinnati years ago so don’t know if you remember me (my daughter Margot used to baby sit for you!). Bill and I always kept in touch and he phoned me from the hospital about a week ago, but he was pretty incoherent and he faded out, I knew he must be close to the end then. Bill, Ginny and I were best of friends, he and I even went to Lotspeich together! Wish I could...

Bill was a wonderful neighbor for 33 years. He will be in our thoughts and prayers and we wish the family our sympathy.
