Not sure what to say?

Hi Flemmings - so sorry to read this about Bill. I was doing a little research as we are the new owners of GH 16 at Black Butte, which I am assuming was your place. Please contact me if you'd like to stop by for a visit sometime and you can sit on the deck and have a cigar and brandy. Best Wishes, Bill Clarke - [email protected]

I worked for Bill in the mid 70's at Hyster in the UK. He was always a gentlemen and went out of his way to make everyone feel important. He presented me with my '5 year pin' when he visited me when I was on assignment in Saudi Arabia. Bill was one of a kind. My sympathies to his family.

Bill was a wonderful human being. I succeeded Bill at Hyster Europe. Bill and Pat were very helpful in that transition.
Bill and I met annually at Pigeon Hunt in Neskowin with other Hyster employees until a few years ago. He was a valued member of that group.
Bill will be missed by all.

It was on the mourn
That I saw a ship a sailing
The sea was calm
The winds were fair
Bill was young
And he was at the rail
With shipmates once again.---rs

I moved to Mary's Woods 3 years ago, and had lunch with Bill a few times. He was a very quiet man, and reluctant to talk about himself. One thing that was very clear from our limited conversations is that he missed his wife very much. The obituary was a loving tribute, so nice to read about his wonderful life. --Dennis Taylor
