Not sure what to say?

To the beloved Dr. Fletcher, who operated on my cousin, Antonios Mettos (from Greece) three times for cancer and saved his life. May your memory be eternal. We´re eternally grateful Sincerely Antony Xenios

Bill was one of the best friends i ever had. He didn't know. He was a good man.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. We will miss seeing Bill on his trips to Wolfeboro.

To his patients and their families, Dr. Fletcher was a hero, and always shall be. Thank you for sharing this beautiful obituary.

I worked for "Bill" (Dr. Fletcher to me) way back in 1962. I spent many years working in other departments at OHSU, and our paths crossed many times. I will always remember him as a wonderful physician, researcher, and person. My sincere condolences to his family. He made an impact and left his footprint on this earth - better for us all.

I am a faculty member at OHSU and I remember Bill very well. My wife Jeanie worked for him for a couple of years and he was always kind and thoughtful to her.
His work among patients and colleagues made such a positive difference in so many lives. He is and will remain an OHSU hero.

My wife Katie and I will be forever grateful to Dr.Fletcher. We were privileged to work under him at OHSU for several years and learned much about the craft of surgery and cancer treatment on his service. I met my beautiful wife there and have many wonderful memories of our time with him.

Our family will forever owe Dr. Fletcher our gratitude for prolonging the life of my beloved wife Diane. After being diagnosed with Stage IV cancer she was expected to live 8-12 months. She remained with us for just over 6 years before finally passing in 2006. Thank you Dr. Fletcher.

I always appreciated Dr. Fletcher's view of any situation. He was most often correct.
