Not sure what to say?

I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet Bill & spend some valued time with him in his home that had once belonged to my great-grandfather. He was a very impressive man with interesting adventures and stories he shared with us. His spirit was uplifting & I could tell he was young at heart.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing; there is no doubt he will be greatly missed by many. I will never forget the day I met him.

A grand man whom did great deeds in his prime, and yet unprompted (re)discovered, documented the origins, migration, and tribal customs of our true original, native families all published through University of Texas Press.

A mentor to many and friend to all my deepest respects and thanks for sharing a friendship. I hope all your other journeys speed you through worlds untold/lands yet undiscovered. It was nice to know you. You will be missed.

I feel so honored to have known Bill. I always looked forward to our visits when he came to my salon in Austin. I will forever cherish the friendship I had with Bill. Thank you for all the wonderful wisdom you gave. You will be greatly missed my dear friend!

Sorry to hear of your loss. Never really knew the man but I did know Gittan, and he must have been someone special to turn out such a great daughter. May he rest in peace knowing he created such a good family. God Bless
