William P. Foti

William P. Foti 85, of Manchester died June 26, 2006 at his home. He was born on March 15, 1922 in Guardavalle, Italy and was the son of Joseph and Rose(Geracitano) Foti. He was the widower of Rose M. Foti who died in 1988 and had been married for 43 years.

He was a veteran of the Italian Navy having served with the San Marco Battalion.

He was a member of St. Catherine Church. Prior to his retirement he was employed with Edison Electronics which later became Daven.

In His Life:
Members of the family include one son William J. and his wife Cathy Foti of Manchester, NH. Two daughters Mrs. Rosanne Guerette and her husband Michael Guerette of Manchester, NH and Patricia Foti of Pembroke Pines, FL. Also five grandchildren two brothers Luigi Foti of Locri, Italy and Franco Foti of Guardavalle, Italy. Two sisters Maria Calle of Guardavalle, Italy and Giovanna Furfuro of Locri, Italy. A special cousin Franco Geracitano of Rome, Italy. Several nephews and nieces.

Service:
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-8 PM in the Cain & Janosz Funeral Home 74 Brook St. corner of Pine St. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Thursday in St. Catherine Church 267 Webster St. The burial will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery Bedford, NH. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Visiting Nurse Association of Manchester Hospice Unit 33 South Commercial St. Suite 401 Manchester, NH 03101.
