William George Franciscus, 38, of Kelso passed away Nov. 24, 2009, at home.

He was born Nov. 30, 1970, in Longview and was a lifelong area resident. Bill attended Rose Valley Elementary, Coweeman Junior High and Kelso High schools before receiving his GED.

Bill loved hunting, fishing and played baseball and football. He enjoyed spending time with friends, history, and sports and political trivia. Bill was kind-hearted. He helped care for his grandfather, George Parsons, who suffers from Alzheimer's Disease and loved his nieces and nephews.

Bill is survived by his mother, Vickie Fritz, his father, Gary Franciscus, a sister, Candy Heston (Kevin), a brother, Zack Fritz, and three nephews, Beau, Nick and Mat Heston, all of Kelso; three nieces, Chalena Heston of Kelso, and Macen and Grace Fritz, both of Seaside, Ore.; and his beloved dog, Little Bit.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dorothy Parsons, and Bill and Lucille Pierce; an uncle, Rocky Parsons; and his stepfather, Gary Fritz.

A celebration of Bill's life will be announced at a later date.

Contributions may be made to the William Franciscus Memorial Account at Fibre Federal Credit Union to assist the family with expenses.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Dahl-McVicker Funeral Home.

i will always remember bill. he will live on in all of our hearts forever. i will always remember walking in and telling him to shut up and he would just laugh and say alright i will. he was always there to help everyone. he could always put a smile on everyones face. i may not be blood related to him but he will always be a part of my family as i will always be a part of his. we sure miss you bill. i will take care of mom for you since your not here to do it anymore. my thoughts and prayers...

i will allways remember Bill for giving me a good laugh and a big smile . its been years scence i have seen hime but i will allways keep his smile in my thoughts.

I cannot express with words how agonizing it must be to lose a Child, Brother, Uncle. I hope you find some comfort in knowing you are loved and my heart is with you as you grieve. God bless little Billy womper...I sure do love him.
