William will be remembered and missed also in Switzerland. Back in 2001-2002 he was a PhD jury member for my dissertation at EPFL. Starting from the outset of my PhD research William had continuously kept his interest in it. I loved object modeling with William at Citibank in the late 1990s. He was such fun to chat with and eager to share conversation and learn and share his knowledge with all! He and his brother were gems to work with.
