William Ronald Frazier Jr

Ronald was my grandfather. I called him grandpa-Ron. As we live in France I could only see it twice. But I would have liked to know him more.

My Uncle Ron loved the Will Short Puzzle. Every Sunday he would solve the puzzle and then email or call people to see if they had solved it too. He would launch right into what it was. Take these three words that are countries and then remove the third letter and add a vowel. Reverse them and then think of something they used in the 1930s and that is what the new word is. Got it? Ron was born in Portland, Oregon, March 12, 1941. He was well educated at Lakeside High School in Seattle, received a Bachelor of Arts degree at Portland State University and then a Masters in Teaching at Reed College. He attended the Sorbonne University in Paris and studied French and Literature. He then went into the Peace Corp and spent two years in Niger. Later, he taught in Greece and France.
