Not sure what to say?

Great great man. Love the memories of traveling to St. Rose games in his VW bus. Always pleasant and nice to everyone. will be greatly missed

Kathy and Mike, I am so sorry to hear about Bill. Please know that you remain in my thoughts and prayers. I always enjoyed seeing Bill at games and catching up with him. May He Rest in Peace. John

Kathy and Mike Bill always had a kind word for everybody.

Besides his busy coaching schedule at St. Rose in the mid to late 60's I recall that Bill was also the PE teacher for us girls - and boys. I very fondly remember his kind, gentle humor and way of helping to calm the preteen awkwardness in so many of us at that time. What a gift he had ! My dearly departed friend Mary Jane N. and I were so often the targets of ridicule by a few of the boys due to our height (though we did OK on the basketball court :) but he mitigated that and helped us...

Rest In Peace in Mr. Freeman. Maureen Gillan St Rose of Lima `67

We met Kathy and Bill in 1973 when we moved across the street from them on Scheffer. We attended the same parish and our children attended the same school. They introduced us to the good life Up North in 1981 and we shared many wonderful times together over the years. They introduced us to Arizona as they had a home in Scottsdale and later in Mesa and we were in Green Valley. They entertained us every year on our way to Arizona for a few days. Bill enjoyed his life to the fullest in...

Mom & Dad moved us final 6 kids onto Scheffer Avenue in '77. I spent the next couple decades bantering with Bill from across the street defending the Raiders athletic performances versus those of his beloved Cadets. Kathy and he were truly the class of the block with their beautiful gardens, and he really DID patrol the neighborhood on his late evening walks. St. Paul is a little less hospitable now that Bill has his wings. May the angels lead him into paradise.

I remember Mr. Freeman well from my days at St. Rose. He was well liked by the kids he taught and coached. I too remember piling into his van to get to the games. He had a positive influence on us all. Rest in peace Bill and thanks for everything you did for us while at St. Rose.

So sorry to hear about Bill. We have had so many fond memories of you and Kathy at Mass at OLP. May he rest in peace. God bless you both. Thoughts and prayers.
