eternal rest grant to this gentle renaissance priest whose service at st. peter's enriched my spiritual life. the words of isaiah, david...jesus...were preached in the frame of japanese pottery, on/off broadway...the ny times...and fr. bill showed us how to live...now...in beauty.

may he delight in the exquisite mansion his father has prepared for him.

Dear, dear Father Bill. I will always have very fond memories of you from our days at Riverside Hospital - the good times and the not-so-good. I will also remember the last time that we spoke - all too briefly - at St. Clares Hospital, right after my father died. You were loved.

Dear Father Bill, Just your name brings a smile to my face. You have been an important part of our family since I was young. Having you do Passover dinner because my Mom wanted us to experience all we could(being catholic I didn't get why we were doing a Jewish holiday, but I learned and shared also). You were there to sponsor my Dad becoming a catholic one month before my Mom past away. Please accept my deepest sympathies.

Fr. Bill, you were my favorite high school teacher at Neumann Prep (class of '77) and someone I have considered a friend for many years. You were always a decent, kind, caring, spiritual, and intelligent person. The world was and is a better place because of you. You will be missed greatly. Rest in peace, friend.

Father Bill I will miss your wonderful Homily's and the many 12 noon masses we shared at Saint Clare's over the years....your smiling face and presence will be missed here on earth but I am sure welcomed in Heaven! Rest in peace! Anne Marie Pizzi

Dear Freeswick Family,
Father Bill had a tremendous spirt as you know. I'm sure the Sister's will miss him. My husband and I had the privilege of Father Bill marrying us in St. Peter's Church 26 yrs. ago, as well as baptize both of our children at the Villa. It was at his suggestion; saying "The Sister's would be so pleased to see a baby", and they were and I was glad. I will remember him fondly. Thank you Father Bill, Godspeed

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
