He recently attended the memorial service for my husband although we had not seen Bill for several years. Our family sincerely appreciated his presence. Mr. Gallegos was my 5th/6th grade teacher at Garfield Elementary and I enjoyed every minute of my class with him. One of my favorite memories was when he introduced us to "McCavity the Cat". We would beg him to read it over and over, every spare minute we had. I feel honored to have known him.
