William Zimmerman Gant

My condolences to the Gant family on your loss. I was a classmate of Bill's at UVa in the mid 1970s. Bill was a great buddy to hang out with, and we had a lot of fun playing racketball and tennis. He was a great competitor and a good student. I hadn't seen him since college days and just happened to see the news of his passing on the alumni website. I wish I could say something to ease the pain of your loss.

So very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Years ago he was my tennis instructor and proved to be a very nice & patient man. Recently saw him while passing thru the Orlando airport and and we had a moment to chat. My sympathies to his family.
