GARBACZ, William of Dearborn Heights passed away on November 30, 2018 at the age of 77.
Beloved husband of the late Ruth. Loving father of William Jr. (Melody), Kenneth, LuAnne (Steve) Chorkaluk, Benny (Kristyn), and Shane (Lisa).
Father in law of the late Sherry.
Grandfather of 13 and great grandfather of 4.
William was a proud United States Army veteran. He was a pipe fitter who retired from Rouge Steel and also a member of Local UAW 600.
Funeral mass will be Monday, December 3, 10:00AM at Our Lady of the Angels located at 6442 Pelham in Taylor, MI. Instate at church at 9:30AM until time of mass.
Visitation on Sunday 1:00PM to 8:00PM at the Taylor Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 9800 S. Telegraph Rd.

I remember your Dad the best from when I was a teenager/young adult, and our Mothers were good friends. He was always kind to me, and emphasized with the problems I had in life back then. As I am now 57 years old, and my memories are clear, it's obvious your Dad made a large and lasting impression on me during a time in my life when little did.
