Not sure what to say?

Bill was a gentleman in the courtroom. I got to know him when I was an assistant Lake County prosecutor in 1988. Later, we tried a divorce case against each other. I will miss him. He was proud to see his daughter admitted to the Bar alongside him.

Mr. Gargiulo was my senior year English teacher at Wickliffe High School. He is the only teacher I had there that comes back to my memory again and again. Others were good but he was special. We discussed Shakespeare and he made me feel bright and as if I could achieve more than I thought I could. I'm sorry I didn't tell him that, personally.

I had Mr. Gargiulo as a teacher at Wickliffe High. Met him once again when I was in police work and sought him out for legal help when needed. He always was pleasant, helpful, considerate. I'll miss not seeing him around Wickliffe.

May he rest in peace. Mr. Gargiulo (we would never think of calling him anything else) was my freshman-year English teacher at St. Joe'sin 1960. Still remember reading the Merchant of Venice and discussing why it was important to read Guy de Maupassant. Guess he made an impression on me. Mr. Gargiulo that is, not de Maupassant.

Dear Sharon and Family: I had the privilege of practicing law with Bill. He was a good lawyer and a very honest and ethical man who cared about his clients. He was both a great teacher and an inspiring attorney. Please accept my sincere condolences. I received the sad news while I was out of Ohio. It is a great loss to the Community and the Profession.

My condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Gargiulo. I was one of his students at Wickliffe High School, and a most intelligent and interesting man. I've though of him frequently throughout my life. I'm very sorry to hear of his passing.

Dear Sharon and Family, we are so sorry to learn of Bill's passing. We still miss all the Pfriem parties where we first met you and Bill. He was such an easy and interesting person to talk to and Rich and I enjoyed conversations with both of you. So sorry for your loss.

To Sharon and family,
My sincere condolences of the loss of Bill. My memories return to the neighborhood days on Naumann Avenue where Bill and his parents lived directly across the street. Then there was the reuniting with Bill during the time my husband and I had a tax business and we received such honest advice from Bill as our attorney. Bill was always a straight forward person but also had a good sense of humor.
He will be missed.
