Not sure what to say?

Mr. Gaudette was my first manager and he is the one that got me into the hospitality field. I worked with him at Jack August in East Hartford he was my manager, in Mentor,. I respected him deeply and I´m sorry for your loss, he was a wonderful person and I learned so much from him. Because of his influence I successfully became an executive chef and worked in many large hotels on the east coast, and I contribute my success to his leader ship. I lost my mother and father in 2020 and I always...

My sincere belated sympathy to Vickie, Andy and the entire family. I will remember Bill with deep respect and gratitude for maintaining his promise to hire me when the opening of the Inn at Gwen Careg did not materialize. I learned a lot while working at the Altnaveigh about the restaurant business and also how a couple can lovingly work together. Best regards, Jim

I worked as a waitress at the Altnaveigh Inn in 1987 and 1988 as a college student. I have never forgotten Bill and Vickie and all that taught me. To Vickie and family, please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. I remember Bill fondly and he taught me to appreciate fine dining.

God bless Bill a dear friend of The Scutnik Family!

Our deepest condolences in the passing of Bill ; May he Rest In Peace !! God Bless

William gaudette was a true friend and a gentleman I will miss him dearly .rest in peace Billy boy

Sorry to hear this news. Had been going to the Altnaveigh Restaurant since my undergraduate days at UCONN back in the '70's, and after Bill & Vicky became owners my fiancée and I got married there & held our reception there, and every year until they sold it we had Thanksgiving dinner there. Too good people. Already missed them not owning the Altnaveigh anymore, now that's further exacerbated by Bill's death...Rest In Peace.
