Not sure what to say?

Bill was a great mentor and friend. I will always hold dear the integrity, commitment and professional ethic that I learned from him in the office, on trips or mentoring in the community school systems. His influence will be greatly missed. Many Thanks go to the Gaylor family for sharing the years with his co-workers at Rockwell/Collins. May God Bless you and Our prayers are with you.

Bill's good nature and strong work ethic was a strong influence on me early in my career with Rockwell/Collins. One can rarely point to a single individual that, can over 30 plus years, be remembered for such an influence. All of us that were touched by Bill's life are better for having known and worked with him. My condolences for your loss. Take joy in knowing that Bill lives on in many of us.

In the almost fifty years that I have been a friend of the Gaylor family, I have never heard Bill say an unkind word to or about anyone; nor have I ever seen him pass up an opportunity, regardless of how large or small the deed, to gladly help whomever he might. He was a gentle man with fierce integrity and will be greatly missed. Bobby Burdick

It was an honor and a pleasure to work with Bill at Rockwell. His unfailing good humor and expertise lifted everyone who came in contact with him. May God comfort and bless the Gaylor family during this time.

Bill was one of those great individuals that some of us have the good fortune to work with in our careers. Bill's energy, good humor, and strong leadership were an inspiration to so many of us at Collins/Rockwell. He was committed to making the products right for our customers and was unafraid to shake things up if they needed to be. I will miss him.

The world will miss Bill Gaylor. The world needs more people like Bill. I had the pleasure of working with Bill on multiple projects between 1968 and his retirement. Bill was always personable and friendly. He had a way of dealing with all aspects of a situation or project. His technical expertise and understanding lent even more credibility to his efforts. If there were more people in the world like Bill, it would be a much better place. One of the world's greatest.
