Not sure what to say?

The death of a parent is heart-breaking. My prayers are with you, John, Debbie and Margaret.

Dear David,
I was so saddened to hear of your family's loss. You do so much for so many others. I hope and pray you find the Lord's strength and love as a comfort to you and the family during this time of transition and loss. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I mean it! Let me know if there is anything I can help with! It would be my fondest pleasure. Come by for a cup of coffee, etc. when you get a chance.
Peace and Blessings
Ed

The passing of a parent is very difficult for children. If nothing else, we face our mortality.
I know your father will be missed and I will pray for you in this time of grief.
