EAA Chapter 240, his aviation buddies, belatedly learned of Bill's passing. We'd missed him at our meetings and events but assumed, like so many of us, that he'd just been too busy to attend. We'll miss Bill and his interest in all-things aviation, and mechanical. Our sincere and belated condolences to his family and friends. We've all lost "a good one".

Bill was a member of EAA240. One of the members wrote the following which the family may appreciate.

Very unfortunate. At the Christmas party Bill mentioned to me he had some sort of cancer developing on his brain. He did not want to share more than that. At that point he was unsure of the next step or test to be performed. He had discovered the issue only weeks before. I am sending my condolences and may special memories of him bring you comfort at this time. God will soon wipe out every tear and death, mourning, outcry and pain will be no more. Thinking of the family.

We really miss Bill on Wednesday nights at Essene's. We're so glad that he got to spend christmas with our little group. Our deepest sympathy to his family. He was a very endearing guy.
