Love you pops miss you ...My heart is not da same.... Carlos Ortiz.. Always in my heart

My Sincere Condolences to Janet and Family, I was thinking about Bill today on St Patricks Day, after reading that UConn won the Big East Tournament. It was also just today that I read of his passing. We met a few years ago, poolside at Disney, Bill had just finished running in a race. During those couple of days, we spoke about everything from our in common age and Irish-American Heritage, to sports and politics. We only met once, but I will remember Bill and our conversations forever....

My old roommate from 50 years ago. RIP, Bill

It is hard to put into words just how big of an impact Coach Ghio had on myself and my teammates on the University of Saint Joseph Men's Basketball team. He was someone who was always there and would take care of his guys no matter what. Despite only knowing him for the last few years, his incredible generosity stuck out and he had a positive impact on so many of our lives. I am thankful for the time spent around him filled with tons of laughs and will miss him greatly. Love you Coach!

We can attest first hand to Bill´s courage, compassion and generosity. He never said no to helping others. He was a kind, caring and grateful man whose infectious banter and smile will be missed. His devotion to his beautiful family and faith are unquestionable. Till we meet, again, our friend. With deepest sympathy to the Ghio family, Stephen Resnisky and Angela Dallas
