Not sure what to say?

Bud was a very special person - warm, considerate, compassionate and kind. He always showed a deep interest in others. Bud and his wife, Sue, were such wonderful friends to our parents (Gene, Elaine and Claudia) and to our entire family. In 2009 Bud (and Sue) were with our dad for his last breath. When our mom Elaine was ill last year, Bud made it a point to check in often. During those very difficult times for our family, he was so incredibly strong. I am comforted knowing all are resting...

I was surprised and saddened last Sunday to see Bud's obituary in the Oregonian. I remember him well and wish you comfort and healing in his absence. Charlotte

That photo, it is exactly how we picture Bud (and possibly at that very location). We treasure our friendship with both Bud and Sue, our favorite dining companions. We shared so many laughs and great conversations. We cherish the memories. In recent weeks when we go to the restaurant where we so often met up with Bud the realization of loss hits anew each time. We will miss Bud; we were so lucky to have been friends with he and Sue. Hopefully the knowledge of how much much joy their family...

My deepest sympathy to the family. He was certainly a giant in the business world in Greensboro, NC, when he ran United Guaranty. May he Rest In Peace.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
